This is what inspired the innovative spirit of Tenax North America, focused on the fundamental goal of creating, designing and manufacturing environmentally sustainable technical solutions applied to 100% electric street cleaning machines.

Tenax North America embodies the “e” philosophy in every aspect and stage of its activities. With the strength of our 35 years of experience in the street sweeping sector, we are able to make use of the best technologies in order to offer our customers a complete range of effective zero-impact solutions. It was back in 2003 that we created the first completely electric road sweeper in the world.

To help reduce our environmental footprint, Tenax North America’s production is emissions-free thanks to our 50 kW solar PV installation and our strategic positioning in Motor Valley, the heart of the Italian automotive industry, which allows us to source the best components in our own back yard.

All Tenax North America’s internal processes are optimised in accordance with the principles of Lean Manufacturing and perfected through continuous improvement in accordance with the Kaizen methodology in order to offer our employees the best possible working experience, pursuant to our ISO 9001 and 14001 quality certifications. Even at the end of their life cycle, Tenax products remain environmentally sustainable, with over 90% of components being recyclable.

The goal of Tenax is to make the world more sustainable and liveable for its inhabitants and for future generations. For this reason, when compared to a traditional road sweeper with an internal combustion engine, which can emit over 37,000 kg (81,571.1 lb) of CO2 per year, Tenax’s zero-impact technology completely eliminates tailpipe emissions and also drastically reduces those created by the production process.
