The tried and tested electric steering system provides exceptional agility and maneuverability, which combined with excellent directional stability allows the driver to concentrate fully on the task at hand without distractions or having to worry about maneuvers. Thanks to its two/four steered wheels, which offer increased maneuverability, Electra 2.0 evos is able to efficiently clean any surface, from the narrowest alleyways to the largest squares. The Electra 2.0 evos + electric road sweeper can be equipped on request, and depending on type-approval requirements, with hydraulic steering in place of the electric steering system.

Electra 2.0 evos + can be equipped with different types of 48 Volt low voltage battery packs designed specifically for the device. The possibility to use different types of batteries (LiFePO4, AGM and lead acid) allows the machine to be adapted to the specific working requirements and budget of each customer. Depending on the battery type chosen, runtime ranges from nine to ten hours, and is therefore able to cover an entire work shift. The tried and tested technology used minimises the environmental footprint and offers high levels of recyclability, as well as high levels of safety thanks to the low voltage.

Electra 2.0 evos + can be equipped with a wide variety of external single-phase and three-phase battery chargers with different voltages, power ratings and charging times to fully meet customer requirements. It can also be fitted with an on-board battery charger which allows the batteries to be charged at any public car charging point. Moreover, Electra 2.0 evos is also equipped with a regenerative braking system which allows the device’s runtime to be further extended.

The Electra 2.0 evos + electric road sweeper is equipped with a suction waste collection system. Two independent counter-rotating brushes, positioned in front of the front steering axle, convey the waste towards the suction inlet, and an innovative air filtration system located between the waste hopper and the centrifugal fan, with performance improved by 20%, which allows the outlet air to be filtered, increasing the efficiency of the flow. During the work phase, the self-balancing nature of each component adapts to any road surface to ensure perfect operation at all times. What’s more, the innovative brushing system composed of independent brushes significantly increases the sweeping width, without affecting the machine’s dimensions. An optional third electric front brush provides further performance gains and offers greater productivity.

The strong, waterproof 2 m³ (70.63 cu ft) waste hopper is made from AISI 304 stainless steel. It is equipped with an AISI 304 stainless-steel mesh filter which is easy to inspect and offers a high level of filtration. The waste hopper can be operated either from the display in the cab or with the optional manual cable via an ergonomic button with extendable cable for use outside the cab. The 1.600 mm (0.06 in) raised offload height allows the swept up material to be easily offloaded into containers. The 400 l (105.67 gal) fibreglass clean water tank guarantees maximum runtime and use of the dust abatement system.

The ergonomic and soundproofed waterproof aluminium cab of the Electra 2.0 evos + sweeper offers a very high level of comfort to the operator along with a unique driving experience, thanks also to the damped four-wheel suspension. Equipped with two adjustable and anatomic shock-absorbing seats, it allows the operators to work in total comfort and safety with minimal vibration and unparalleled soundproofing. The control display is ergonomic and intuitive, featuring a user-friendly interface and brand-new cutting edge graphic design; it offers great ease of use which makes it possible to concentrate on the work to be performed without any distractions. The innovative headlights, panoramic LAMINATED anti-glare windscreen, and brand-new fully glazed doors with reduced window frame provide optimal visibility, however optional supplementary video cameras are available to provide an even wider view of the surrounding area. Safety is no less important either inside the cab, with reversing camera as standard, seat belts and a Bluetooth radio, or outside with enhanced lighting of the sweeping area to ensure full visibility during night-time operation or in poor visibility. Electra 2.0 evos + is equipped with a next-generation electronic air conditioning and heating system which is both efficient and powerful.

Fleet monitoring and digitisation via Tenax Link facilitates the work of both owners and operators. Tenax Link offers targeted services and support, with constant monitoring to minimise downtime and operating costs. The goal is to guarantee use of the sweepers at an optimum level by eliminating all operating inefficiencies.
